AXA Chief Ass Officer (CAO)

Image result for stupid assAxa Affin employees and agents are unlucky to work with an incompetent manager. It’s a painful experience. We have a ringside view of the constant leadership failures while this moron stumbles through. We had to bear the brunt of his obvious discomfort.
chief ass officer is frustrated and struggling in the job. “Incompetent” is a cruel word, but we all know what incompetence looks like. Here are five signs your chief ass officer (CAO) is in deep shit over his head:
Out of Touch – Chief ass shows his or her failure to grasp the role by losing touch with managing agency. All of us - knows the most pressing issues and priorities, but the chief ass - can’t keep track. He asks us about unrelated issues (where is the best karaoke, who is the best Guest Relation Officer at the Karaoke, how much for a sex session, is her boob big etc). Wen we tried to drag him back to the critical topic - the chief ass will get agitated and scolded us at the top of his voice - “SHIT - I knew that! You guys are Jamban (shit-house in Bahasa Malaysia)”. It is obvious he didn’t. Beers are serve freely at meeting held at company premise during office hour. We are forced to drink the beer. Those who refused to drink beer are branded as - Traitor, Pengkhianat, Penderhaka, Asshole, Jamban, Stupid, Sissy!!!  We can tell when chief ass asks a question that makes it clear he has no understanding of the topic.

Negative Energy - Chief Ass Officer (CAO) fear of failure will evoke a fight or flight reaction. Chief ass constantly reminds us - I’m the chief ass here! I’m going to install some new Rules and Policies!” Incompetent moron won’t be deterred by reality. He barks - “Here are the new rules. If you - Traitors - does not like it - resign!”  A chief ass is sinking when he starts implementing policies that can only stop or slow down the agency productivity. Chief ass will bluster around like a cockerel - bullying and exerting his macho-ism.

Taking Over Your Job – Chief ass is clueless has no idea what his job was supposed to be.  Chief ass believes that because he was there in that job before, he must have the right answer to every question. He must know the answer. He was the chief ass, after all!  Chief ass was a former agency manager - from AIA Malaysia - and a confirmed agency manager that failed in this business. Now he is appointed by axa affin to manage and lead the Agency Force and sales. Imagine a - Washed-out, worn-out dinosaur - managing and leading axa agency - over the cliff. Chief ass is the primary cause that sank axa affin with more than RM20 million pre-tax loss (January - September 2016).  Chief ass change everything we did to show that the company was smart to hire him.

Image result for stupid assChief Ass Stops Making Sense – We watched an overwrought ass pours garbage out from his mouth daily. Anybody could have a slip of the tongue, but when chief ass opens his mouth - every sentences and paragraphs literally don’t make sense. Derogatory words, filthy sex jokes, lewd language, humiliating sexual advance is chief ass trademark. Demanding agencies push dodgy life insurance product (Money Max Saver) to unsuspecting customers. Chief ass – makes no sense.

No Ideas – Chief Ass is always running ideas around in his head and shafting them with agency force. In reality - Chief ass doesn’t deal in ideas. Chief ass ideas are obsolete, outdated, dictatorial, bullying and even humiliating. Locking agency leaders for 8 hours in a dark room while -scolding, blaming, humiliating, demeaning them - is chief ass idea of "Motivation". He can’t stay above water long enough to have ideas. He can’t listen to good ideas, either. When chief ass is thrashing about in a job, everyone - especially the agency members - can tell. We are not allowed to advise chief ass – that is suicidal – he threw us under the bus and terminated us.

AXA Lord Vader Wannabe

Axa Affin Life Insurance had experienced very poor operating results in 2015, and 2016 was projected to be even worse. With missed revenue targets, negative earnings, high employee turnover, demoralized shareholders, the company is close to imploding. One management practice stood out like a sore thumb: The company Chief Agency Officer (CAO) was a bully. He suffered from what I call the “smartest guy in the room” syndrome. 

At a all axa affin agency review meeting with agency leaders - the CAO - in an accusatory tone, shouted and scolded agency leaders (with derogatory words and foul language) why they were not generating more sales or recruiting more new agents. When the agency leaders explained their reasons and offered recommendations for closing more sales & recruitment, the CAO dismissed their answers, calling them nonsense or unreasonable.

He embarrassed the agency leaders with caustic remarks in front of their peers.Employee's ideas were never good enough to be considered, much less implemented. He chastised employees for not being more aggressive about making their quotas. He appeared to be competing with them by boasting that he always met his sales quotas and never had any of the problems they described.
Axa affin employees and agencies - view the CAO's management style as “abrasive,” “abusive,” “arrogant” “condescending" and "sexual harassment.” Many employees had put their resumes “out on the street” and left the company and more is leaving. Hundreds of agents have left and more is leaving.Bullying in the workplace usually starts at the top. Bullying puts all employees, not just those who are being bullied directly, into a state of fear. As a result, it’s extremely difficult to be positive, creative or productive. 

Bullying is one of the most demotivating, demoralizing and debilitating of all management practices. It’s the quickest way to lose your most talented people and develop a reputation in the marketplace for having a ”poor work environment.”
Image result for idi aminEmployees/agents also experienced poor communication - disorganization and indecision especially from the CAO. CAO uses whatapps (like Trump uses tweeter). Employees/agents did not trust senior management especially the CAO. When it came to corporate values, management did not “walk the talk.” 

It’s demoralizing for staff to see senior management (CAO) spouting the rhetoric of corporate values but not practicing those values. Senior managers who fail to model appropriate behavior in the workplace or in their personal lives send a message of shallowness and phoniness.
The company’s board of directors should have terminated this bully CAO. The culture of the company and its operations issues were beyond repair if he continues to lead the company.
